Tier III Network Administrator - TS/SCI Clearance - ECS2185

About the Opportunity:
Joint Enterprise Technologies is seeking a talented Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) Tier III Network Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance to provide monitoring, maintenance and advanced support
of voice, data, and/or video communications networks for the (Day/Swing and/or Mid) shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 3rd level resolution and customer support to all customer managed networks. Candidate must be able to accurately document; using customer outage tracking software, network and/or VTC outages is critical. The main tools utilized for this position at the GNOC include: Putty, SharePoint, GEM, WhatsUpGold, Tivoli, Cisco IOS, Support Web Incident Tracking System, and various network monitoring/troubleshooting tools as required.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operating/hardware network system problems
Demonstrate network troubleshooting techniques and experience
Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
Assist in the development of the policies and procedures as they pertain to the network environment.
Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability.
Create and report all outage notifications and network related issues according to standard operating procedures.
Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
Experience with both LAN and WAN troubleshooting
GEM experience for monitoring and configuration of crypto equipment
Experience with WAN circuit technologies (T1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-192)
Comprehensive knowledge of CISCO and Juniper routers and switches along with VTC network hardware and software tools listed above
Possess comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the network environment
Participate in engineering projects or upgrades as tasked by GDIT management
Interface with vendors to ensure proper performance of tools and software packages
Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed by GDIT Management.
Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution
Experience with programming and troubleshooting KG-175A and KG-175D encryptors (to include 10Gig encryptors)
Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance to lower tier employees

Shift Work is required (work center is 24/7)

A minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience in the administration of networked desktop and server systems.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for this degree.

Required Clearance: An active TS SCI clearance is required. Willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.
