About the Opportunity:
Joint Enterprise Technologies is seeking a talented Hardware Support Technician to provide hardware and cabling infrastructure maintenance and support for customer voice, data, and/or video communications networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer support to all on-site customer managed networks. Candidate must be able to accurately document; using customer outage tracking software, all critical network and user incidents and outages.
Performs installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems.
Installs, maintains and repairs voice, data and wireless communications systems.
Maintains telecommunications equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring.
Interprets service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Tests, locates, and repairs equipment problems associated with trouble calls, and performs routine maintenance.
Verifies work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Strong Communication Skills - verbal and written
Intermediary problem analysis and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy within documentation
Able to interact with Customer via phone, email and video teleconference
Adaptability to 24/7 environment
Able to work independently within a Team Concept
Shift Work may be required.

HS/GED + 4 years experience
Associates Degree + 2 years experience
Bachelor’s Degree + 0 years experience
Substitute for Educational Requirement:
4 years of related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
